Fancy swapping the usual Halloween scares for a paintbrush and a pint? We’ve got just the thing. A Spooky Halloween Sip & Paint at The Sun Inn is coming this October.

We’re teaming up with Serene Studios for a run of creative evenings, and the Halloween sessions kick things off. In this post, you’ll find both spooky dates, our new autumn menu and the rest of the line-up.

Spooky Halloween Sip & Paint: Thursday 29th October

Our grown-up Halloween session runs from 7pm to 9pm and costs £35pp. It’s hosted by the fantastic Naomi from Serene Studios, and everything you need to get painting is provided.

Just turn up, settle in and let the creativity flow. Whether you’re a dab hand or your last masterpiece ended up on the fridge in primary school, everyone’s welcome. No experience needed, only a willingness to have a go (and perhaps a little sip while you’re at it).

Kids’ Spooky Halloween: Friday 30th October

Little ones get their own spooky session on Friday 30th October from 2pm to 3.30pm. It’s £20pp.

It’s a brilliant way to fill an October half-term afternoon, and there’s a good chance you’ll go home with a creepy-cute creation to show off. Places are limited, so don’t leave it too late to book.

Our Autumn Menu at The Sun Inn

Autumn has arrived at The Sun Inn, and with it a menu built for chillier evenings and fireside comfort. From rich braises to a showstopping Wellington, there’s plenty here to warm you through.

Make a night of it. Paint first, then tuck into something hearty while the evening winds down.

• Thursday 26th November: Festive Wreath Holiday Special, 7pm to 9pm, £35pp
• Thursday 3rd December: Baubles & Bubbles Christmas Special, 7pm to 9pm, £35pp

That last one is a cracker. You’ll decorate your very own ceramic Christmas bauble while enjoying a little festive fizz.
