Ford Farm Coastal Cheddar

We are proud to source all our lovely ingredients from some of the best suppliers around – and our cheese is no exception. We took time out last summer to visit Ford Farm in Dorset. It’s where they make their exceptional Coastal Cheddar – the key ingredient in our famous cheese soufflé.

The people behind the cheese at Ford Farm – Mike Pullin, Martin Crabb and Robin Willsher – were fabulous hosts. They are clearly and justifiably proud of their set up and their cheese. The farm has its own herd of cows that produce the milk for the cheddar, and we think you will enjoy this short film which shows the mobile milking unit. It’s taken to the cows in the field, so all they have to do is chew!
